Micellar Water | Makeup Remover + Cleanser

Make-up artists and models have used Micellar Water for decades

What is Micellar Water?

Micellar Water’s ingredient list is quite simple: Deionized Water, Witch Hazel, Water, Alcohol, Glycerin, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate, Capric/Caprylic Triglycerides [MCT Oil], Lecithin, Decyl Glucoside. That’s it! No harsh chemicals to irritate sensitive skin.

How do you use Micellar Water?

Part of Micellar Water’s effectiveness is in the application. Pour the Micellar solution on a cotton pad. This takes advantage of Cotton’s hydrophilic properties. The hydrophilic heads are attracted to the cotton, leaving the hydrophobic tails sticking up to trap oil, and dirt, including makeup, mascara and sebum. When applied to skin Micellar Water and cotton pads cleanse the skin by acting like a magnet, attracting and entrapping impurities without harsh rubbing or scraping.

When do you use Micellar Water?

Micellar Water can be used in place of your cleanser and toner. We like it for touching up mascara misses and for cleaning your face after being out and about on your bike, or a long car ride or anywhere you want to get your face clean when there’s no water around. We also like it on those mornings when we need to rush out the door after a late night.
