Over the years we have had the pleasure of meeting many people who have touched our lives and supported our small business. One of our favorite shops to visit is Tru Furniture in Coos Bay, Oregon. We're honored to be a part of their exquisite shop and refer to them as our favorite local stockist. Brittaney & Jed find eclectically shabby furniture and refinish them into masterful pieces to furnish your home. Brittaney's eye for color and merchandising her products are unparalleled. Take a quick pictorial tour of the gorgeous shop below. If you're ever in the Coos Bay Area you MUST stop here!!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of vending the Canard Labs line at the 69th Annual Cranberry Festival in Bandon, Oregon. The Annual Cranberry Festival is one of southwestern Oregon's best-known events. It pays tribute to the community's No. 1 agricultural crop. I was absolutely amazed at the shear volume of people in attendance. Given that Bandon only has a population of 3,000. In preparation, I made a plethora of products containing that lovely little cranberry. Everything from soap to candles to bath bombs. The first day was a whirlwind of people. We met some really extraordinary people and had some fabulous friends help us out! Better yet, we were able to spread the word about our shop opening in October. Day two was a bit slower but we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who returned from the previous day to purchase even more! Those bath bombs and candles are beyond addictive. Without the community support we have received, we would not be able to take this newest step with our upcoming storefront. We are more than grateful for all of the wonderful people who have crossed our path and made this business a success. Much love to those who continue to spread the word and support us in our efforts. We ❤️ you! Lately I've been tackling large(r) batch soap making. Graduating from 5 pound batches to 28/30 pound batches. These larger batches are made in a slab form. Cut into loaves then cut into bars. I've found that the soap cutting process has become very cathartic for me. My mind is free from stress as I watch my creations take shape and inhale the delicious aromas. |
